It is reported that the large bioenergy project in Qingdao that invested by Qingdao Huatong Group & Qingdao Energy Group, cooperated by Qingdao Institute of Bioenergy and Bioprocess Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, has successfully appointed as the pilot of biofuels project by the NDRC with 40 million financial subsidy of the central budget investment.
The pilot project is the first one that Qingdao has successfully applied for than ever before since from 2015 that China implemented the pilot project of straw and biofuel.
The bioenergy project locates at Nancun town, Pingdu city. It adopts the patent technology of CAS to produce biofeul and bio-organic fertilizer by utilizing the raw materials of straws and rotten vegetables in surrounding areas. The project planned to complete by the end of December, 2016, has invested 310 million yuan with an area of 90 acres.
When it is completed, it will be the largest bioenergy project that can be expanded and promoted in north of China and the first comprehensive treatment project and the biggest biogas engineering project on straws and rotten vegetables, displaying its vital exemplary role. The statistics shows that more than 1.28 million ton of corn stalk, over 280,000 ton of wheat stalk and more than 70,000 ton of peanut stalk can be collected every year in Pingdu city. By now, the treatment of straw waste has been highlighted but there is no other better way to deal with the straw waste.
Meanwhile, for the Nancun being a big nationwide exporter of pickles, a large amount of cabbage residues are in urgent need of treatment. Under this circumstance, Huatong Group and Energy Group joins hands together to dispose of the rotten vegetables and straw waste for resource utilization.
Once the bioenergy project in Qingdao is completed, more than 40,000 ton of cabbage residues and 70,000 ton of straws can be disposed every year while 6.66 million sq.m biogas, 140 thousand sq.m carbon dioxide equivalent of green house gas emission per year can be produced. It is of great social benefit, environmental profit and economic benefit.
