As one of the most significant renewable resources, bioenergy plays the decisive role on the heat energy and electricity supply, as well as the fuel transportation. Due to the complex technology, the bioenergy projects are under the consideration of dealing with the sustainable development and supervision framework. In February the International Energy Agency (IEA) and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) jointed hands together to launch the How2Guide Bioenergy Roadmap Development and Implementation, designed as the plan and implement strategy on bioenergy, the instrumental tool to further the existing technology.

How2Guide puts forward the vision of bioenergy development on the basis of sustainable assessment and analysis on the potential, technology and cost. It draws the conclusion on the major obstacles and the effective solutions when comes to the supply of bioenergy raw materials and the biotransformation technology.
 
Bioenergy in Short Supply
Regarding the bioenergy is in short supply, it is strongly suggested that associated cleaning technique with gasified, dry features could be taken to reduce the ash content and produce high caliber fuel in the pre-process. Biomass gasification is supposed to regard as one technique choice to transform the distributed, low-valued lignocellulosic biomass to gas fuel, power generation and cogeneration.
